When I meet people who are interested in what I do, I really believe that aside from the income, the thing that that they are most fascinated with is the flexibility. Yes, I am able to go pick up my boys from school and each lunch with them and volunteer for lots of things at their school; BUT IT IS WORK!! I still have to get up early, I still need to plan my day and speak to people, but the most important part is that I still need to work. Planning is really important to me. I look at this industry as outside sales. Having an outside sales position really helped me to work independently.
